Dry cargo
Standard and high-cube containers protect general cargo with enclosed steel sides, roof, and end doors.
Special cargo
Open-top, hardtop, flat-rack, and platform equipment support top-loaded, heavy, tall, or over-width cargo.
Reefer cargo
Temperature-controlled containers require airflow clearance, correct set points, and route-specific equipment confirmation.

Measurements and weight figures are planning references. ISO codes, max gross, tare, and payload help cross-check carrier spec sheets, but the final allowable cargo weight still depends on the released unit, route, local road limits, and booking confirmation.

Before requesting equipment
Prepare the cargo envelope.
Measure the complete packed cargo, including skids, crates, protrusions, lifting points, dunnage, and securing material.

Confirm the packed dimensions
Record the maximum length, width, and height at the furthest points.

Confirm weight and centre of gravity
Provide gross weight per package and identify any concentrated or uneven load.

Describe the loading method
State whether cargo needs end loading, crane loading, forklift access, or special lifting.

Flag special conditions
Identify dangerous goods, temperature control, out-of-gauge dimensions, and securing requirements.
